Have a question, or ready to get started? New families reach Dr. Singh through one short online form, and he follows up with a brief phone call.
Emergencies and urgent matters
If your child is in danger, call 911 or 988, or go to the nearest emergency room. Please don’t wait for us.
Children’s mobile crisis teams by area:
- Northern Virginia: CR2, 844-627-4747
- Washington, DC: ChAMPS, 202-481-1440
- Maryland: 988, or in Montgomery County the Crisis Center, 240-777-4000
Email, the request form, and portal messages are for routine matters only and are answered within one business day — three for new inquiries. This practice doesn’t operate a 24-hour line; we’ve set it up this way so the time we spend with your child is unhurried, and we’ll always be clear about how to reach help when we’re unavailable.
If your child is in the emergency room or hospital, let us know: tell the staff that Dr. Singh is your child’s psychiatrist so they can reach us, and send a portal message marked “urgent” or leave an urgent voicemail on the practice line (the number is in your welcome packet). Urgent messages are reviewed every morning and every evening, and we follow up by the next business day at the latest.
New families: request an initial call
Whether you have a specific question or are ready to begin, start with the short online form. It asks a few questions about what you’re looking for and whether Blue Horse may be a good fit, and it has a space for anything you’d like to ask. Dr. Singh reviews each request personally and follows up with a brief phone call, where your questions are answered directly.
A full history is collected securely later, only if we proceed. For anyone under 18, the request must come from a parent or legal guardian. Referring clinicians: please share this link with the family rather than completing it for them.
